Nina Dietzel is German born and currently lives in Marfa, Texas. We happened to meet as I was looking for art for a client and we connected right away. For Nina, working with a beautifully designed device such as a mechanical Hasselblad, slows down time, almost to the point of meditation, allowing a more in-depth relationship to develop between photographer and object. This type of ‘slow art’ also becomes a much sought after counter-point to the daily rush and a reminder that we often miss magic, and other perspectives, if we don't slow down once in a while.
